Mobile Controlled Robots

Introduction

Mobile phones used to control and access a lot of devices such as TVs,  ACs and lot many. The concepts and the process behind using our smart phones as a remote for all smart systems can be learned and taught in much easy pattern with the use of robots. We will make our participants to design and develop a robot and control its working and process with the inputs from our smart phones.

Our intuition about the future is linear. But the reality of information technology is exponential, and that makes a profound difference. If I take 30 steps linearly, I get to 30. If I take 30 steps exponentially, I get to a billion.

Prerequisites:-

Can access computer system and make use of internet to perform search over Google.

Need to Prepare?

Prior programming experience is not required.

Tools Expected:-

Windows OS based PC, Internet Connection, Notebook and Pen

Tools Provided (for the session):-

L293D Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver Board, IR sensor, DTMF Module, DC geared motors, Chassis, Caster wheel, Clamp, Wheel, Screw Driver, Stud, Screw, Battery Connector with DC Jack

Concepts:-

Operating System, Logic creation, Integrated circuit, Basic of electronics, Sensors, DTMF and Motors

Summary:-

This workshop will be addressed with hands-on session in developing interesting robotic car which can be controlled using our mobile phone with the help of DTMF technology. A student will be able to come up with a machine which can be controlled by using a remote Cellphone.

Project:-

Designing, Development and Controlling of a robot from mobile phone using DTMF technology.
